Technology is truly amazing. I remember not too long ago, in a galaxy far far away when I used to write letters to my friends. It was a tedious process in that you had to write the letter, find out how many stamps it would take, figure out postage rates for international vs domestic mail, and then mail it off. You would drop the letter in the mailbox and then wait, and wait, and wait some more and wait a little more and then when you stopped waiting, a letter would come for you. I remember feeling so elated to have the letter in my hands and opening it and reading the contents. Sometimes you had to read it more than once to see what it is all about and make sure you understood it completely. If you were at all like me, and maybe you weren’t, I saved all the letters from my friends and girlfriends in a shoebox. I would take some time out once or twice a year to read the letters and reminisce. It seemed so normal, yet now it seems so antiquated. We don’t handwrite letters any...

So I headed home from Vegas today and was flying United. I normally fly southwest out of san diego as there is not connection, but this time I wanted to fly out of carlsbad. My flight from Vegas was on time and I was thinking it was going to be a quiet flight to LA. I couldn't have been more incorrect. Two girls that had missed their earlier flight and had been drinking at the bar were lucky enough to sit next to me. At first, i thought to myself, "these girls are train wrecks" I decided to allow myself to have fun with the whole thing and got to know the two girls. They were extremely funny, extremely abrasive and very much like me. Emma and Lynn were awesome travel companions. They were both tipsy and very funny. They proceeded to tell me all about their week. Love is our natural state of being. It is a vibrational frequency that you can see and feel in those around you. The expression of love can be in material things as when someone says, "I love your shoes". They are resonating with the frequency of the color or style of the shoes at their current energy level. When we step out of our mask of what we think love is, we begin to realize that we had no concept to begin with. Often times we think that love only comes in the form of placing someone in our lives as the soul benefactor of our love and that is what I feel God was trying for us NOT to do. When we learn to love everything around us, when someone sees that vibrational love, they become attracted to it and so want to share in that love and spread it with that person all over the world. Wow is all i can say. Again i reiterate my point that life is way too short and we have to enjoy every moment of it. You may recall my post about Bob a few months back. I was elated to have dialogue with him and he even retorted to my comment in his column. I have always respected Bob as a person even if some of his views were far away from mine.
